Precision Matched Rings — Height: 0.97 Inches | 24.64 mm

We start with certified USA 7075 T6 billet aluminum and hold it to an extremely tight tolerance of .0005 using our precision Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) mill. Our Precision Matched Rings are kept in pairs throughout the manufacturing process — ensuring perfection from one set to another. These Vortex rings are then serialized, vibratory tumbled, hand-bead blasted and finished off with a Type III hard coat anodize.

  • Weight (Per Ring): 65 Grams - 2.3 oz
  • Rugged, lightweight, anti-snag design
  • Robust, Grade 8 fasteners
  • 100% made in USA guaranteed for life

Note
These Vortex Precision Matched Rings position the center of the riflescope tube at a height of 0.97 inches (24.64 mm) from the base. Will only work with Picatinny spec mounts—will not work with Weaver mounts. Sold two rings per package. Hex wrench included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where's the beef? I'll tell you where the beef is...It is in these rings. Dear Lord these things are stout. In the event of a nuclear war, there will be two things surviving, cockroaches and these scope rings. They make me want to upgrade the rest of my gun to be as tough. Install was a snap, and just setting the scope down in the bottom halves i noticed it was engaged enough to not want to rotate. I put maybe 2 inch pounds on the screws and the scope was locked up tight. No need for lapping at all. Yes I torqued them properly in the end. But that goes to show you how they fit out of the box. I am happy with these rings. If I can figure out how to add a photo to this once I get to the range tomorrow I will.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Testament to their dedication to perfection! I bought these rings with the expectation I would need to do some touch-up work as I have done on every set of rings I have ever owned. They are sturdy and well built. Just a few passes with the lapping tool would reveal how well machined and matched these rings truly are!!!! I will buy these and gladly shell out the extra cost!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best rings I have ever owned. I bought these rings a little over two months ago and I have not been disappointed yet. Hands down the best rings I have ever owned! Mounted to my Remington 700 in .30-06, the rings handle recoil no problem. Will make sure to get these ring for my next rifle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the beefy build: Warne Weaver mount beware Great product! I ran into an issue actually mounting the rings on a 2-piece Warne brand weaver mount on my .308. The slotted portion on the rings was thicker/wider than the slots on the weaver mount from Warne. I verified that I had the ordered/received the Weaver version of the Precision Matched Rings, and both sets had the W as the last portion of the product code. I then tried mounting the rings on an AR15 and a Warne 20MOA Long Action Tactical rail and it fit just fine. Speaking with Warne, they said the 20MOA rail has wider slots and is a mil-spec Picatinny rail, so I ended just ordering a Warne 20MOA Short Action Tactical rail for my .308 and another rifle that will get married up with a Vortex scope in the spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and dependable scope rings! I used these rings to hold my Gen 1 PST 6-24 on top of my custom SMR 7mm rem mag, and these rings are solid! I never experienced any issues because of the rings not doing their job. They are easy to install, hold the scope securely with no shifting under heavy magnum recoil, and they look great too! Couldn't ask for a better set of rings in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock solid. I have a Viper HS-T mounted in a set of these I couldn't be happier! They are rock solid rings. I love the snag free edges as I do carry this rifle in the field quite a bit. I debated between these and the Badger Ordanance and decided on the Vortex rings instead. I'm glad I did! I'm not a fan of the large hex nuts sticking off the side of the other guys rings, I much prefer the set screws. Keeps everything cleaner and I'm not having to unsnag stuff from the rifle all the time.

I have an HST 6-24x50 on an FN FNAR using PMR 1.45 hight rings. They're too tall. That said, I want to make sure I have room for a can, so should I go with 1.24 or .97?  I'm leaning .97

Asked by: BiffTannen
The 0.97" height should work for your setup.

I have a Christensen Carbon Classic. What rings would you recommend to mount the Vortex Razor AMG ?

Asked by: derek
Low rings will do the trick if it's short action, if it's long action you'll need to get the medium height.

Is there any downside to using the weaver style pmr rings with a mil spec picatinny rail base? Will the weaver style handle 300 RUM recoil?

Asked by: Dan87
The Weaver Style PMR's will work with Weaver or Picatinny and there is no downside to using them on Picatinny. They will handle the recoil of that cartridge without issue.
