Precision Matched Rings — Height: 0.95 Inches | 24.13 mm

We start with certified USA 7075 T6 billet aluminum and hold it to an extremely tight tolerance of .0005 using our precision Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) mill. Our Precision Matched Rings are kept in pairs throughout the manufacturing process — ensuring perfection from one set to another. These Vortex rings are then serialized, vibratory tumbled, hand-bead blasted and finished off with a Type III hard coat anodize.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't ask for more Bought the rings when I was mounting my favorite scope (Vortex Gen 1 Razor HD) to my RPR. Given the handguard, it needed rings that were a bit taller than my standard bolt rifles. Ryan took my order and got the rings on the truck. Received them in time to mount, torque and the scope zero'ed in time for the weekend PRS match. Fit/finish is perfect (as usual) and will be buying another set when I pick up another Gen 1 Razor! Love you guys and keep up the great work!

Recommended precision match rings for Razor HD 5-20x50 on Ruger Hawkeye LRT with 20 moa rail? Will the .95 work?

Asked by: Bunker1
I would run the 1.0" for that setup! .95" might work but will be very close.

What height rings would I use for a razor HD 5-20X50 on a M1a with sage chassis and their detachable cantilever scope base mount. Trying to keep the optic low as possible with this setup. Thanks

Asked by: Inspector823
Thanks for the question! I would recommend going with a set of our 35 mm Precision Matched Rings 1.26" inch height for your setup.

Hello Vortex, I have a Tikka T3X CTR with a 0 MOA base, sitting in a KRG X-Ray Chassis. I just purchased a 30 MOA rail for it and was wondering which 35mm PMR you recommend with the Gen 1 Razor HD 5-20x50? Thanks.

Asked by: Tommy
Thanks for the question! I would recommend going with a set of the 35 mm Precision Matched Rings 1.00" inch height for your setup.

I recently purchased a RPR chambered in 338. I’m installing a Razor HD 5-20x50. I seen that someone recommended a ring height of 1.45”. My question is where can I locate that size? I see 0.95”,1” and 1.26” but no 1.45”.

Asked by: Precision Slingshot
Thanks for the question! The 35 mm Precision Matched Rings only go up to 1.26". You will want to use those for your RPR.

Mounting a Razor HD g1 with these rings. If I set the scope into the ring bases I can lift both of the bases up off the counter if I lift the scope. Is this too tight of a fit and should I lap these rings to create a slightly looser/uniform fit?

Asked by: Cameron
That's actually perfect and ideal. You have great contact between the rings and optic! We recommend torquing that optic in those rings to 20 inch/lbs.

I just purchased a Razor HD 5-20 x 50 for a Ruger Precision rifle in 338 Lapua.  I would like to know ring height, and options for the best fit. I see you recommended the cantilever mount before for a 6.5 creedmoor version. Is this still the going opinion

Asked by: Tsnip1
Thanks for the question! I would recommend going with a set of our 35 mm Precision Matched Rings 1.45" inch height for your setup. The cantilever mount will push the optic forward which you don't necessarily need to do with the RPR, but both would get you to the proper height.
